    Reflecting on its heritage as a historical black college and university (HBCU) and a traditional 1890 land-grant institution, AAMU functions as a teaching, research and public service institution. AAMU provides more than 60 undergraduates, graduate and certificate programs and concentrations, a diverse international faculty, 50 plus student organizations.   • Alabama State University — Montgomery, AL
    Alabama State University is a public historically black university in Montgomery, Alabama. ASU is a member-school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. ASU has nearly 6,000 students from more than 42 states and over twenty countries.
